Applicants for membership in this organisation, which gives a platform for their work to be viewed by others in the field, are encouraged to do so. Multidisciplinary, intersectional methodologies that are historically aware and philosophically inquisitive are important to us, as is classroom instruction that reflects this research. The Society’s membership is open to all university faculty, students, and self-employed academics.
As of July 1st, SSEWMG have bought the EMW Journal’s Ad Early Modern Women:
An Interdisciplinary Journal. We’ve had a long-term goal of formalizing our relationship with the journal, and we’ve finally accomplished that goal. The University of Chicago Press Journals Division will handle journal and membership applications and renewals starting with Volume 16, Issue 1. (Fall 2021).
