Another one of the AG scholarships is Targeting Excellence Scholarships which are awarded by a scholarship committee comprised of the national board of members and regional leaders involved in food animal production.
The scholarships will be awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an agricultural curriculum at an institution that offers a degree program in agriculture.

The amount awarded to students enrolled in a 2-year program is $1000. For students enrolled in a 4-year program, they are awarded $2000, while graduate students are awarded $3,000.

AGRIFUTURES HORIZON SCHOLARSHIPS
This is another one of the AG scholarships. In partnership with industry sponsors, the AgriFutures Horizon Scholarship is an initiative supporting students enrolled in full-time study at an Australian university by providing:
Students who are in the final two years of their undergraduate degree receive $5,000 per year in these last two years should they be selected for the scholarship.

The amount awarded to students is $5,000 per annum. Because the scholarship lasts for two years, the total amount awarded is $10,000.

Horizon Scholarship is open to citizens of Australia and permanent residents who are enrolled full-time in their last two years of an agriculture-related undergraduate degree at an Australian university.
Basic requirements
- Applicants must study for a suitable degree. This includes Agricultural Science, Rural Science, Livestock/Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agribusiness, Plant Science, Agricultural Economics, Resource Management, Sustainability, Food Security Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) with major studies and subject selections relevant to, and aligned with, agriculture.
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Australia or be a citizen.

ALLAN KAY UNDERGRADUATE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This is another one of the AG scholarships. Unlike many of the aforementioned AG scholarships that are merit-based, Allan Kay Undergraduate Memorial Scholarship is need-based. The scholarship is for students in agriculture and horticulture who face financial hardship.

Recipients of this scholarship receive up to $3,000. It should be noted that this scholarship is a single payment.
