  • The National Eagle Scout Association is the only organization that may award you with a scholarship. Prior to seeking to become a member of the NESA, you may apply for a scholarship via the organization.
  • In order to be considered for a scholarship, students must apply during their senior year of high school unless the Eagle Scout Review Committee is conducted after October 31, 2021, at which point they will be enrolled in university.
  • For consideration, scholarship candidates must have a minimum of 1,800 SAT (or 1290 SAT if taken after March 2021) or 28 ACT points to be eligible to compete. To achieve this condition, a “super score” might be employed.
  • When meeting this condition, a “super score” might be utilized. Eagle Scouts may apply for merit-based NESA scholarships that begin in their senior year of high school and may apply each year until their first year of university.
  • The NESA scholarship may only be received once by a candidate. So far, NESA scholarships have only been made available to Scouts who are enrolled in four-year institutions of higher education.
